Allison Wiffen Ceramics

Welcome to the web site of ceramic maker Allison Wiffen.  Allison graduated from  Camberwell College of Art in 2003  where she took first class honours.  Since then she has developed a number of strikingly original ranges of hand made ceramic jewellery  taking her inspiration from some fairly unlikely sources - drains and railings, and local graffiti!  Much of her work is an exploration of pattern in the urban environment, but recent ranges such as Op Art have been a celebration of the purely graphic. Many of the ranges use photographic images, and Allison takes the photographs herself often in and around Deptford and London.
